Ladies, make plans now to join us for our first meeting of the church year where we’ll hear Stacey McCully, Donna Powers, and Ann Delair share their thrilling God-filled experiences while serving in India for the annual India Mission trip last spring. They will even bring a "taste of India" with them for you to sample – you won’t want to miss it! As usual, we will have a time of prayer for our church needs and for missionaries. Each woman who attends will receive an IMB Prayer Guide for some of the world's least reached people groups. We will also kick-off this year’s India Project of making 130 hygiene bags for young women in India. We will pack a lot into our first meeting – we hope to see you there!
Are you able to help with the India project? We need volunteers to cut and sew. We need material donated. The following material – washed and ready to go – can be brought to the meeting or put in the barrel on the Antioch Campus or in the collection bin at the Ridgeview Campus:
• New absorbent cotton flannel – 1 yard 45" wide makes about 24 outer pads
• New heavier cotton – duck, lightweight canvas, or denim – 1 yard 45" wide makes about 24 outer pads
• New or lightly used absorbent cotton flannel sheets
• New or lightly used absorbent cotton terry towels
Our October meeting will be off-site at Mission Southside on Tuesday, October 21, where we’ll help with them prepare for their annual Christmas ornament project. We’ll lunch afterward at Mi Ranchito. Watch for more details to come!
