BigKIDS Ministry

At Blue Valley Church, we minister to children (1^st-5^th grade). The goal of BigKIDS ministry is to partner with families to reach children with the gospel of Christ. We desire children to understand their role within the church by helping them realize:

What is the church?
How do I become part of the church?

First Time Visitors

At Blue Valley one of our awesome BigKIDS volunteers will greet you and help your family check in at our greeter’s area located in the Children's Departments of our Antioch and Ridgeview Campuses.

Safety

All teachers are required to submit to a thorough background check and child safety training. In addition, each child is given a safety badge when checked in and parents/guardians are given a security pick-up tag. This ensures children are properly returned at the end of each hour.

Sunday Mornings

Sunday School
9:30a
Children are placed in grade-based classrooms. Our lessons are Gospel-focused and driven by Biblical truth.
During the 11:00 hour we encourage children to worship with their families in the main Church service.

11:00a (Antioch campus only)
BigKIDS Worship Time
Children are given reinforcement of the 9:30a lesson with a focus on activities and games. The goal of this hour is to draw out application of Biblical truth.

Sunday Evenings (September – April)

AWANA (Ridgeview Campus Only)
5:30 – 7:00p
AWANA is for children ages 3 years through 5th grade that incorporates Bible teaching and scripture memorization with lots of fun.
